Jun Yan has founded venture-backed technology companies and focuses on capital, technology commercialization and cross-border market access across AI, robotics and industrial technology. Earlier in his career, he held a senior executive role at DiDi.
闫峻（Jun Yan）曾创办获得人民币和美元风险投资的科技公司，主要关注资本、技术商业化与跨境市场准入，以及人工智能、机器人和产业科技从技术能力走向真实部署的过程。早年曾任滴滴高级管理职务。
Jun Yan has worked across technology companies, entrepreneurship and market access in China. His earlier operating experience included a senior role during a formative period in China’s ride-hailing industry.
He later founded venture-backed technology companies, raised capital from RMB and USD investors, built operating teams, and led one company through an M&A exit.
His current work focuses on how capital evaluates and scales technology after technical capability is proven: how deployment becomes repeatable, how companies cross markets and how those capabilities are valued.
His bylined work has appeared in the South China Morning Post, The Business Times, Asia Times and Tech in Asia · Insights. Selected Chinese writing has appeared in 36Kr and 暗涌Waves. His views have also been quoted by Le Monde in reporting on industrial robotics and China’s EV market, and by The Bay; he was also interviewed by The Wire China.
