China’s Humanoid Robot Orders: What Do They Prove About Repeatability?
Large orders can indicate commercial interest, while completed deployments show that robots have moved into real operating environments. Neither, by itself, establishes repeatability.

The stronger test is what changes from one deployment to the next: whether later projects require less bespoke engineering and can reuse more of the interfaces, data, testing routines and operating knowledge created earlier.
In industrial robotics, repeatability should not be confused with zero customization. Customer environments can remain different while more of the capability required to handle those differences becomes reusable and stays with the supplier.
The evidence becomes stronger when repeated deployment requires less rebuilding, not no adaptation.
